Connecting in quarantine.
In the short film, Ships in the Night, ‘Chrysanthemum2012’ finds connection despite the isolation of quarantine and shelter-in-place. For us, collaborating with director Katherine Bourne Taylor on this project provided the same.
A film about fan fiction requires the characters to inspire the fandom, that’s where we came in. Collaborating with Bourne Taylor, we developed Talon and Elaerys, two characters from the fictional hit show, Battle of Time.
Ships in the Night was nominated for “Best Illinois Short” at it’s debut festival: Beloit International Film Festival. More festival announcements coming soon.
